eDPI Calculator

Find your effective mouse sensitivity using the current game, in-game sensitivity and DPI above. You only need a target game when converting.

Your current eDPI

—

Choose your current game, then enter its sensitivity and mouse DPI above. No target game is needed for eDPI.

How to calculate eDPI

For a linear sensitivity scale, eDPI = mouse DPI × in-game sensitivity. For example, 800 DPI × 0.4 in VALORANT = 320 eDPI. In Fortnite, divide the displayed percentage by 100 first: 800 DPI × 10% = 80 eDPI.

Compare eDPI only within the same game and input scale. The same eDPI in VALORANT and CS2 does not mean the same turn speed. Use cm/360 to match physical mouse travel across games; the converted eDPI can correctly be different.

Game settings & conversion sources

53 hip-fire profiles, including nonlinear Minecraft Java and PUBG sliders. Competitive games appear first, with CoD and Battlefield grouped below. Disable acceleration and keep the stated input settings.

Quick presets: VALORANT, Counter-Strike, Fortnite and the listed Overwatch heroes. Advanced FOV modes: modern CoD Relative, Battlefield Uniform aiming, Apex and Siege. Other scopes use measured calibration of a linear ADS control. These methods match scoped turn distance, not identical screen-space tracking speed at every zoom.

What does this conversion match?

Hip-fire uses physical turn distance. ADS matches scoped mouse turn distance with the selected game and scope presets. Select a supported ADS scope for automatic turn-distance matching, or expand the optional measured converter for other games. Acceleration and non-default input multipliers need calibration.

Can I compare eDPI between different games?

eDPI is DPI multiplied by a linear in-game sensitivity value. Calculate it with only your current game, sensitivity and DPI. Fortnite percentages are divided by 100 first: 800 DPI at 10% is 80 eDPI. Compare eDPI within the same game and scale; use cm/360 across games. Curved or offset sliders use turn distance instead.
